Listened to you on kqed today. I liked how you say people expect you to be the spokesperson for your background. I am expected to know all things Jewish and my husband all things Japanese.
Unfortunately that's what happens when you are perceived as an outsider to whatever the dominant culture or religion is. It happens to Gay people, Arab people, Differently abled people, People with iPads...
